I believe that the small risk of getting sick from raw eggs is totally worth the joy of licking the bowl. (it was blueberry muffins, if you're wondering)
I think you would pretty much just suck as a mom if you didn't let the kid do it. My husband is against it, but I won't budge. It is actually a matter of conviction for me. :)

jaymarie, you rock! :) and just out of curiosity, has anyone out there had trouble from raw cookie (or muffin) dough?
Never had a problem, unless you count "inability to stop eating it" a prob.
