(Yesterday. Front of school.)
Sally: (to male classmate) "Move!"
Me: "Please be polite."
Sally: "But Mom, he screams like a girl. You heard him."
Me: (supressing laughter) "That is no reason for you to be rude."
Sally: "Fine."
(Earlier that same day.)
Me: "It says 'You light up my life.' Do you know what that means?"
Sally: "Yes."
Me: "What?"
Sally: "Ummmm . . ."
Me: "It means you make me happy, you make my life full of joy and peace, you make my life better."
Sally: "OH - you mean God."
Me: "Well, yes. . . . "
Sally: "Because I was like, God is the only person who could be a light. I was like, that's only God."
Me: (to myself) "Like, totally."

funny the amount of stress and unhappiness I've felt lately, my house is emaculate!! All I see to do is blog and clean all day!!
