So I was watching a little TV yesterday and I caught part of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - the old version. The teacher always bugs me. He is annoying and rude and the kids seem amused and confused. The percentages lesson is awful. And wrong. 20% is not 15% half over again. 15% half over again would be 15% + (1/2)(15%) = 15% + 7.5% = 22.5%.
Cripes. It bugs me every single time.
